Which Diet Is The Best For Weight Loss? Ask Coach Reeshemah!


Americans have been obsessed for way too long about the number on a scale. Most women don’t know that weight loss became a craze in the 1960’s when a popular magazine had slumping sales and decided to focus on overweight women to increase their reader status and the rest is history. Here we are 50 years later with weight loss being one of the top obsessions amongst Americans.

Clients often ask me which diet is the best and my answer is simply “There are over 5,000 diets that exist and all of them work.” Yes! That’s right! So now you are free to select whatever diet you desire. The key is to select the diet that is best for your lifestyle, budget and actually includes foods that you enjoy eating.

I can tell you that it is very important to follow a specific food plan, as I prefer to call it. Most people mistakenly eat based on what they have a taste for or what is readily available. This often does not provide balanced nutrition and can result in feeling fatigued, irritable and simply downright hungrier than normal.

I suggest starting with a food plan and finishing it. For example, if you find a 6 week food plan, finish that 6 week plan before moving on to another one. Once you identify and understand the basic structure of a food plan, you can always add your own recipes and modify as needed.
